FAQs

Short answers to the questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, send us a message.

Who is Wise-Hearted Women for?

Women across the UK facing change, isolation, separation, bereavement, financial hardship or other life challenges. We welcome women of all faiths and none, and of every background.

Do I need to be a Christian to take part?

No. Some activities draw on Christian values of compassion, hope and love, but faith-informed support is always optional. You will never be required to pray, worship or share a particular belief to receive help.

Is this a crisis or emergency service?

No. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent emotional support, Samaritans is available 24 hours a day on 116 123. We offer practical, community-based support, not emergency response.

How do I join a group or ask for coaching?

Use Join the Community to tell us how you would like to get involved, or Contact Us with a message. We will reply and help you find the right next step.

Are sessions online or in person?

Both. We are online and community-based so women can take part in the way that fits their life. Details are shared when you get in touch or when an event is listed.

Is there a cost?

We work to keep support accessible. Some activities may be free; others may have a suggested contribution. If cost is a barrier, please tell us – we would rather you were here than kept away by money.

How can I volunteer, partner or donate?

Visit Get Involved or Donate. As a Community Interest Company, gifts and partnerships help us reach more women. Surplus is reinvested in our community purpose.

How do you look after my information?

We only use the details you give us to respond and to run our support. Read our Privacy Policy for the full picture, including how to ask us to update or delete your information.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Join a community that sees you, supports you and walks alongside you.
