Safeguarding

The wellbeing of the women who trust us matters. We aim to offer support that is safe, respectful and clear about its limits.

Our commitment

Wise-Hearted Women CIC provides community-based support for adult women. We treat everyone with dignity, keep personal information confidential except where we must act to prevent harm, and do not tolerate abuse, harassment or discrimination in our spaces.

What we are – and are not

We are not an emergency service, a clinical mental-health provider or a statutory safeguarding authority. Coaching, groups and workshops are supportive, not a substitute for medical, legal or social-care intervention.

If someone is at risk

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. If you are worried about an adult who may be at risk of abuse or neglect, contact the local authority adult social care team for the area where they live, or the police.

If a concern arises in our work, we will take it seriously, record it carefully and share information only with people who need to know in order to keep someone safe.

Raising a concern with us

Please email info@whwomen.org or use our contact form. Tell us what happened, when, and who was involved, as far as you can. We will acknowledge your message and explain what we can do next.
